Yoga for Emotional Balance- Natalia Olejarnik 6 week workshop series - meeting once a week on Sundays at 2:00-4:30pm Starting February 19th, 2023 (2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19,3/26) Investment: $199 (sold as a 6-week package, no single classes) The world is currently facing a major shift that brings out many emotions to the surface. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or any other emotional distress or simply you have found yourself recently feeling irritated, extremely exhausted, and/or even angry and out of control, this workshop is for you! Know that you are not alone. Let face the surfacing emotions together. Lets heal together. We will build a strong supportive environment where you will be able to respectfully share and listen to each other’s stories and feelings. We will build a healing community together. I will introduce you to various scientifically proved techniques that help ease and eventually heal even severe depression, anxiety and other emotional imbalances. Through many years of searching for the “magical solution” to treat my depression and anxiety I have come across many effective strategies that helped me come out of the very dark and lonely place. Now I want to share them with you! Be prepared for some deep healing work. I am aware that this requires a lot of courage. Know that you will be held in a very supportive and healing space. In between our gatherings we will still practice our skills we have learned in class and will be able to connect and ask questions or share experiences through a closed online group. This course includes: - Healing, supportive and non-judgmental environment/support system - Learn about the nervous system and how imbalances develop as well as the healing process - Practice Yoga poses that are specifically used to heal the emotional imbalance - Learn techniques and exercises to practice at home in between our gatherings - Journaling as Emotional Healing practice - Combination of mindfulness exercises, meditation, breath work, Somatic Experiencing, yoga therapy, aromatherapy, crystal therapy, and Yoga Nidra - 8 limbs of yoga as a healing modality for emotional imbalances - After the course you will feel empowered and have many resources to come back to in times of crisis (you will create your own healing toolbox) Books: Healing Trauma, The Power of Now, Yoga for Emotional Balance, 8 weeks of mindfulness (the class often runs late so if you can please be flexible about the ending time)
